We are delighted to have received the Health and Nutrition Award at the Cateys! Our philosophy of flavourful, mindful and planet-positive food, with each dish carefully assessed by our talented nutrition team, caught the judges’ attention.
We are delighted to have received the Health and Nutrition Award at the Cateys!
A big congratulations to our Health and Wellness Director Liz Forte, our Culinary Director Ryan Holmes, Brand Manager Sarah Bartolo, Managing Director Eurest National Paul Williams, Executive Chef Jason Trotman, and our entire team whose hard work has made this win possible.
Our philosophy of flavourful, mindful and planet-positive food, with each dish carefully assessed by our talented nutrition team, caught the judges’ attention.
This focus on wellness translated into results – our weekly food sales per unit rose 40% after we introduced our new food philosophy, while net fruit and vegetable sales were up 21% and salad sales 10%.
More than 20,000 calories, as well as 996g of fat and 285g of saturated fat, have been removed from our dishes.
The judges said:
“A very interesting entry that stood out for its execution and commitment to nutrition and good food. Some great results from customer surveys and increases in sales of healthy food.” – Craig Hancox
“A bold, innovative entry which made clear steps through the pandemic to provide for key workers, among others, to maintain their health. Really aligned to healthy eating habits and very clear improvements in nutrient content of dishes.” - Sophie Murray
We are incredibly proud to see our commitment to fuelling the nation’s workforce to be happier, healthier and more productive recognised at the “Oscars of the catering world”!
